Randy is an accomplished Creative Executive Producer and Filmmaker known for producing and directing premium, globally recognized non-fiction work across film, television, and branded storytelling.
She served as showrunner for Vice TV’s highest-rated series Hamilton’s Pharmacopeia, reimagining the franchise for international audiences. She went on to Executive Produce Golden, a docuseries featuring Olympic gold medalist Sunisa Lee for LeBron James’ SpringHill Company and Peacock—nominated for Outstanding Documentary Series at the 2022 Sports Emmys. In 2024, she directed a three-part comedic commercial docu-series for New York Magazine’s The Cut.
Randy has developed and produced projects for partners including The New York Times, Jigsaw Productions, Refinery29, Vice, Vox, Condé Nast, Mailchimp, and Dove. She is currently developing a feature documentary with Union Editorial based on Heather Radke’s acclaimed book Butts: A Backstory, as well as a docu and scripted series with Wavelength Productions and Katie Couric Media.
Her earlier feature documentaries—Off the Grid: Life on the Mesa (The Sundance Channel), Broken Heart Land (PBS/ITVS), and Growing Up Coy (Netflix)—screened at over 50 international festivals, won eight Best Documentary awards, and were featured at MoMA and Lincoln Center.
A recipient of multiple grants from the Sundance Institute, PBS, ITVS, and the Tribeca Film Institute, Randy is a Tribeca All Access and IFP Lab alumna and was selected as a Gotham Episodic Lab Leader. Her work is defined by playful intellect, cinematic storytelling, and a deep curiosity about the human experience.
